Position Summary
Histotechs are primarily responsible for providing the Dermatopathologists with microscope slides that have been properly cut and stained to provide a proper diagnosis.
Essential Functions Summary
The histotech will work each day in the lab. Embedding, cutting, and staining are the main duties of this position. Other duties include set-up, accessioning, filing blocks and slides and multiple other responsibilities as assigned.

- Computer skills to include data entry and EMA knowledge
- Ability to multitask in a high paced, sometimes high stress environment

- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and management
- Other duties may include putting away stock, disposing of chemicals, changing the chemicals in the stainer, and communicating with staff and physicians about any problems with regard to specimens

Position will report to Lab Supervisor
Qualifications
- Prior experience as histology tech preferred.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly.
- Must have the ability to work with all departments and personnel levels.
- Must be able to work independently and to maintain mental focus for long periods of time.
- Prior experience in Dermatology a plus.
- Meets CAP requirements for grossing a plus
- General understanding of IHC staining/troubleshooting a plus
Physical Requirements
Must possess strong English oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with other medical staff and management. Eyesight must be sufficient to be able to read medical charts and computer monitors. Must possess manual dexterity sufficient to utilize reference materials and to manipulate pages in Medical Chart and to type on keyboards. The histotech position requires very strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. The histotech functions as a key member of a team, working in a high paced, sometimes high stress environment, to produce slides that meet or exceed physician specifications.

Position Summary
The medical assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the medical provider with patient care.
Essential Functions Summary
Responsible for assisting the physician with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies and select surgery procedures. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication, patient phone calls, assisting in surgery, nursing procedures, such as suture removal, dressing changes, and completion of pathology and lab requisition documents.

Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Must complete an accredited medical assisting program, dermatology technician program, or nursing program.

Position Summary
Front Desk and Call Center employees are the front lines of our practice. They primarily check patients in/out when they are on site for their appointments and assist patients (established and new) when they reach the practice by telephone/online.
Essential Functions Summary
The front desk employees greet all patients, register demographic and insurance information, collect copays and payments on accounts. Employees will schedule follow up appointments, scan RCH and verify information is correct in system, answer phones and check voicemail including answering physicians line, as well as sort faxes and schedule any patients referred via fax. Phone room employees will create, cancel and reschedule patient appointments, direct patient calls to correct clinical staff members, print/check charts weekly including daily work in charts. Employees are responsible for checking the voicemails and for patient call backs. Employees respond to online appointment request as well. Other office admin duties are required.
Position Requirements
- Skills in data entry and EMR programs.
- Advanced telephone, computer and multitasking skills when working with inbound and out bound calls.
- Must exhibit, demonstrate and maintain outstanding customer service skills
- Completes all other assigned tasks to ensure efficient department function and work flow.
- Escalates any billing/coding issues to Patient Care Coordinator.
- Accurate understanding and application of client manual information to daily assignments.
- Maintain acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality as specified in company and departmental policies.
- Meet routine deadlines and work schedules as well as timely and accurate completion of special projects and any other duties as assigned.
- Understand, support, enforce and comply with company policies, procedures and Standards of Business Ethics and Conduct.
- Display a positive attitude as well as professional, polite, considerate and courteous conduct and treatment of others in the course of duties.

Front Desk/ call Center employees will report to the Patient Relations Coordinator.
Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Must have worked 1 year experience (preferable in dermatology) within a call center and front desk setting.
Must be able to work independently and to maintain mental focus for long periods of time.
